Shanghai TALK is finally really on the web. Though they'd previously launched talkmagazines.cn, the effort was... well, we guess we could call it bare bones. Very pretty, but also more or less useless. The Kristin Kreuk of Shanghai expat magazine websites you could say.
The newly designed site, currently the only one of the TALK enterprise to look the way it does, features most of the goodies (read: articles) from the magazine. They say they're not putting up listings since the focus should be on content. In that vein, there's also some blog posts and featured events and links to what the TALK writers are reading on the web. Oh look, there's us!
Ch-ch-check it out: Shanghai TALK

Looking good.
Is a chance at winning a bottle of Ballantine's really worth a lifetime of spam?
Pretty sure that's what alternate email addresses are for. Although for a bottle of Ballantine's, I probably wouldn't do anything.
As well as the opportunity to win Ballantine's, wine and free movie ticket (oh yes, that's right, free movie tickets), we promise never to spam you more than once per week. Also, our spam will arrive in the way of an entertaining weekly read that you can unsubscribe from with a single click once you've won your loot/found the weekly email to be less than thoroughly entertaining.
