What is this? A pretty cool graphic of China twitterers based on where they're located. Thanks to resizing issues, it's hard to read this pic, but head over to @gabyu's web trend map and you'll find a good list of people to follow if you're into China issues (us included!).
As you can see, the most China twitterers (that actually tweet from China) are centered around Shanghai and Beijing, with a couple down in Hong Kong. Nothing we didn't know already, but it's always fun to see data visualized.

This week in Shanghaiist

What a miserable list. There are hundreds more people twittering in China. Of all the people I follow, only one is on that map.
And some of the people on the map aren't in China.
I'm not on the list either, but it's probably because I don't often mention China in my tweets. Am I right in thinking that the map is based on twitters saying "China" somewhere in their posts?
Seems the people I know that are there are the ones who constantly tweet & retweet news concerning China.
My guess is that its people that @gabyu actually follows and not the China tweet-verse at large (some of the really prominent twitterers living in China are clearly not represented.)
