Taobao, now with same day delivery guarantee in Shanghai

Imagine this scenario: You're having a party and you realize the morning of that the one thing that would elevate your party from awesome to super duper fantabulous is... fake mustaches. So you go on Taobao to try and order some... only to realize that if you wanted it delivered today, you should've come up with this idea two days ago.

These woes are now less likely to happen, since Taobao has now started a new initiative to guarantee speedy day-of delivery in Shanghai, according to the excellent dudes at Taobao Field Guide. While you could have negotiated with sellers for same-day goods before, Taobao's taken it into their own hands to make sure you get your prizes.

Basically, if you order certain goods before noon, you'll get them by 7pm. Shipping costs are below 6RMB and, if the product is late, you can simply tell the delivery man to take it back and fill out a refund form.
