It's gonna be a good week, Shanghai. Whether you're an unemployed soul, an MBA student or a corporate drone, there's something for you to check out. And everyone can get in on the anniversary celebrations, whether your interests are professional (BEAN) or favored more towards debauchery (Antidote).
Monday: BEAN Anniversary
BEAN Shanghai, the professional networking group with a passion for social work and volunteerism, is celebrating their first birthday with a party in the Kangding Lu complex. Winners receive a trophy and other prizes, and everyone gets to enjoy 2-for-1 drink specials all night. If you're an MBA student and fancy yourself a pool shark, grab a classmate and RSVP to tom@mitachina.com.
6 PM-midnight, competition starts at 8. Racks Shanghai, 5/F, No. 7 South Block Xintiandi near Madang Lu (新天地南里广场7号5楼 近马当路) ¥150 with RSVP, ¥200 at the door
After four years and over 100 DJs and musicians, Antidote is throwing their last Antidote @ C's party. To celebrate their fourth anniversary and show their love for C's, they're bringing back most of their original line-up and early supporters, including MHP, Ozone, B6, Shanghai_Ultra, and more. They also had this to say:
ALL the Antidote posters (over 100) will be on display in the Red Room. If anyone is caught stealing one before dawn, security will dunk your head in the men's squat toilet, take a photo, and then you can keep it. Please put it in a nice frame. We'll send the toilet photo to your mum.
Sounds like a party.
