china_pictoral_60years.jpg Everyone's excited about the upcoming 60th Anniversary: after all, it marks a significant milestone in the country's history. A lot has changed over the years, to say the least. To commemorate the many stages and changes of the PRC, in2marcom has a wonderful collection of China Pictorial covers.

If you didn't know, China Pictorial was the first comprehensive publication of the PRC, and has featured interesting features on key historic figures and moments from the past sixty years. As in2marcom mentions:

Launched in 1950 and designed as a vehicle for presenting captivating photographs alongside informative and interesting articles, China Pictorial became the first comprehensive publication conceived after the founding of the People’s Republic in 1949. The inceptive masthead of the magazine was inscribed by the late Chairman Mao.
