Foreigners banned from tibet for 60th Anniversary

tibet.jpg Unsurprisingly, China has banned foreigners from traveling to Tibet in preparation for the 60th anniversary of the PRC. The ban, one of the traditional ways that China attempts to control security around important holidays, will be in effect from September 24 to October 8. If you've been planning a trip to Lhasa, or looking for some new knives, you're going to have to wait until the end of the holidays. Photo: Illuheaven @ flickr
