In case you wanted to start out your morning learning a little Shanghainese, mandmx.com, a delightful little site for Chinese language learning, has what they're calling the Top 4 Most Important phrases.
Unfortunately, it seems "Top 4 Most Important" actually seems to mean easiest, since they just cover "hello," "foreigner," "delicious," and "goodbye" - useful to you only if you haven't been in Shanghai for years now.
What would we tag the most important phrases we'd want to learn in Shanghai hua? "This is too expensive," "Quit talking about me, I can understand you," "You are going the longer route," and "Grass mud horse." Get on it, guys.
