Haibao learned his English from the Brits

So while we were busy drinking it up in celebration of the New Year, the industrious Shanghai Expo people finally released the English version of their Expo site, complete with an English-speaking Haibao. And guess what? Our little blue toothpaste squeeze talks in a high pitched, clipped British accent.

To hear what Haibao sounds like (warning, it may haunt your dreams), all you need to do is hit the Site Tour. Not only will he tell you in detail what zones will be present at the Expo, he even has a little spiel for each pavilion. Once he's done, he'll do a little jig until you hit the next button.

We haven't explored every pavilion on the site yet, but we're especially loving the inflections on the Belgium Pavilion:

Belgium Pavilion presents a huge "brain cell" structure where a mini chocolate factory will demonstrate chocolate production process and will away free authentic Belgian CHOCOLATES! Lucky visitors can win a free trip to Belgium and EVEN BELGIAN DIAMONDS.
