China wants to host the Winter Olympics

Are you guys ready to live through all that Olympic hoopla again? Well start bracing yourselves because China *wants* the Winter Olympics and they're working hard to make that a reality. For now, it remains unclear which city is going to bid for the Olympics but we're pretty sure it won't be Shanghai or anywhere around us.

To ensure a better medal count for China.

I reckon Urumqi will be the best location , with world class mountains in nearby Tien Shan. The other choices are Harbin and Changchun.

As for lamby, China's medal haul isn't too shabby at Vancouver, with 5 golds and more to come.

Guess China's bid would get old Dalai's blessing since it would deliver another "last chance" to his "Holy Cause", if he could live that long.

A respectable seventh finish, I think China can be proud. Better than Japan (no gold medals). Why is it the Chinese women athletes consistently outperform their male teammates?
