TUESDAY: KINETIK, YUE OPERA
Ben Thriller drops some acid, house and techno at KINETIK this week to ensure a night of deep bass and electronic tunes.

Performed by the Zhejiang Yueju Opera Troupe, this performance is adapted from a folk story in Shaoxing. The opera has been performed since the ‘20s. The tale explores the neighborhood Miss Jiujin lives in and displays a vivid presentation of life in the water town a century ago. RMB50-580. 7:15pm

SRT takes La Cantatrice Chauve from its original setting in England and sets it in Shanghai. One can dare anything in the theater where the imagination can run wild.
