This is the last weekend to catch Irish writer Conal Creedon’s two plays, “When I was God” and “After Luke,” as part of the Shanghai Repertory Theater’s International Arts Festival. Today’s play starts at 8pm and costs 150RMB to get in.

Sub-Culture will be teaming up with IdleBeats for a night of dubstep electro and sweet screen printed posters. If you’ve got enough stamina, try hanging out witht he Acid Pony Club for their 12-hour set at Tara 57. Starts at 7pm and lasts until everybody falls over from exhaustion (or 7am, whichever comes first).

“Qiu Xiaolong, author of the Inspector Chen series, brings us an insider’s view of the Inspector’s Shanghai background and how it dovetails with his own experiences, while Cordula shares clips from her recent documentary, including Qiu Xiaolong’s childhood home, the house where the murder took place in When Red Is Black.”
