Yes, yes, we know. The World Cup is still a-playing so most of you already have your plans set down for the week (and they all start at 10pm in any bar with a big screen). But in case you’re not a football fan, willing to try something new and it’s Tuesday and you love scrabble (ahem ahem), here’s a list of the best events to check out this week.

THURSDAY: Canada Day @ Dada, New Zealand Wine Fair @ Three on the Bund, Man Made Jungle @ Art Scene Warehouse
Oh Canada! July 1 is Canada Day, and Dada is celebrating with Canuck DJs Andreas Franco (Vancouver), Trix (Victoria) and Mia (Vancouver). They’ll be spinning whatever it is kids like to listen to up in the Great White North… wait, does that mean this will be an earnest Indie Rock night?
10PM til late. Dada, 115 Xingfu Lu near Fahuazhen Lu, 幸福路115号
The New Zealand Wine Fair is back! More than 210 different wines from 40 of the country’s top wineries will be showcased and you’ll be able to act like a sommelier with equally wine-crazy folks at Three on the Bund. Price is still up in the air, but you can probably email [email protected] to find out more.
