By now you’ve seen all the interior pics of the brand new spanking Apple flagship store in Shanghai, and you’ve heard about their new “Briefing Room” strategy for business customers… but what can you buy there? Obviously, everything – but there were two exclusive Shanghai Apple Store items you won’t find anywhere else.
Okay, it’s not that exciting – they’re both covers (what, no Shanghai-themed Shuffle?): one is for their 13-inch Macbooks and the other is for their iPhone 3Gs. The design is modeled subtlety after the Oriental Pearl Tower, a Shanghai icon that Senior Vice President of Retail Ron Johnson mentioned at least four or five times in his speech to the press.
If you want these “you can’t get ’em nowhere else” items, they’re priced 428RMB for the iPhone case and 498RMB for the Macbook sleeve.
