Expo Pub Crawls: Totally worth the 90RMB ticket

- Eat the meat pies at the Porterhouse if you're planning on drinking for a while. They are 65RMB with chips, which is about the price you'd get them for at the Bulldog on Dongping Lu anyhow. I didn't, which is why I'm in a picture dressed up as a giant Guinness draft.
- Also, an alert: The Ireland Pavilion is surprisingly not worth going to as a drinking destination, and the Porterhouse is not actually even near it. If you want to find the Porterhouse, head to the Polish Pavilion, it's right next door.
- Don't drink the cheapest bottles at the Moldova Pavilion. Just don't.
- We didn't get a chance to hit the Cuba Pavilion this time around, but the entire thing is basically a bar and, if you can make time for it, it's worth going to too.
- Another one we unfortunately didn't have time for was the Belgian Pavilion's Belgian Beer Bar, though since we were already seven or eight drinks in, that's probably a good thing.
- The best deal for drinks was most definitely the Chile Pavilion's Pisco's. They were 25RMB a glass and absolutely delicious, and there was even a two-for-one on the Sours.
- We have a video of the after-party at the Angola Pavilion (though we've heard now that quite a few pavilions take turns hosting their own - ask an Expo employee, they know where it's at). Yes, your Expo experience can in fact last into 3 in the morning. Just be sure YOU can last that long, long cab ride home.
