Xinjiang girl wins Miss Tourism International's China division

wanglu_misstourism2010.jpg To the right is Wang Lu, a girl from Xinjiang who was just crowned China's representative in the Miss Tourism International 2010 competition. To get the first place prize, she showed off her noble temperament, magnanimous spirit and dazzling evening wear looks over the last few days in Hangzhou.

Altogether, 34 girls competed for the chance to represent China in the international finals. The judging took two weeks and involved not only parading around in swimwear and evening wear, but also participating in a three-part reality competition and a scenic country tour.

Winning the second and third places were Jiangsu athlete Anji and Henan deaf beauty Zhu Lijuan.

Wang Lu be competing in the finals in Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia near the end of the year. Even if she doesn't win the main crown, she could get a chance to be "Miss Eyewear Beauty 2010" or "Miss Overtime Fresh Face 2010."

Why would anyone want to see Rebiya Kadeer in swimsuit anyway? and I don't think any muslim girls from Xingjiang will participate in such competition.

Which is a shame because there are some Uyghur girls with fantastic curves.

  • totally agree with nanhe on this one...too bad those pretty Uyghur girls, being Muslims, won't be showing off their nice curves in bikinis anytime soon...

What's your point? A girl from Xinjiang named Wang Lu? Looks and sounds Han to me! If her name sounded more like Rebiya Kadeer, it might be a reason to celebrate!
