This week’s Adoptable Pet from Second Chance Animal Aid.
Age: 2 years old
Health: treated for fleas, mites & worms, vaccinated and spayed
Ideal Home: Polly would be suitable for children and old people alike and she would show a lot of love to anyone who could offer her a home forever.
Polly was picked up by a kind foster parent over a year ago when she was pregnant. The foster family re-homed a couple kittens and then when they moved to Singapore last year, they left Polly and one of her kittens behind. Since then, they’ve been in the care of SCAA.
According to her new foster parent, Polly is “by far and away the lowest maintenance and friendliest” out of any cats he’s helped foster.
“At first, she took about two weeks to warm to us and come out of hiding places. But now, she greets you every time you walk through the door. She loves to play and find warm crevasses beside you on the sofa and likes a lot of attention. The only thing she doesn’t like is adoption day, as she has to go into a cage for a few hours in a strange environment…” which is why they’re hoping to find Polly a real family this Sunday.
For more information about adopting Polly please contact [email protected], or come check them out this Sunday, August 22 at O’Malley’s Irish Pub (42 Taojiang Lu, near Wulumuqi Lu 桃江路42号) from 12pm to 3pm.
