Foxconn, always with the clever ways to get their employees to stop committing suicide, has now started holding rallies with the theme "Treasure your life, love your family, care for each other to build a wonderful future."
And what crazy rallies these were, judging from the pictures. Employees wore "I Love Foxconn" shirts, some held up "I Love Terry Gou (the CEO)" posters. Some dressed as Spiderman for no reason in particular, though I'll make up some right here: Maybe his mad building climbing skills are meant to signify the rescuing of jumpers? Or maybe the fact that he shoots webs represents the netting Foxconn has now put in place - which, ironically, is what killed the 12th jumper.
Says Burson Marsteller, the PR firm representing Foxconn, these motivational rallies will be held at all the company's factories in China.
