Today's the start of Restaurant Week, and dining-wise, that's the big event of the next couple of days. From a cursory look at the site, T8, Sir Elly's, Shintori and M1NT are all fully booked through the rest of the week and Laris, Nougatine and LAN Butterfly are quickly running out of seats. But there's still plenty of other ways to get your gourmet on, so book now if you're so inclined.
But if, for lack of interest or dietary reasons (there are pitifully little options for vegetarians on there), we've still got the low down on things to see and do here in Shanghai from Monday to Thursday. This week, art events a plenty as SHContemporary opens up!
MONDAY
Speaking of vegetarian options, Spiritual Shanghai is hosting a "gathering of like minded people interested in healing, health and wellness" at Anna Maya Vegetarian Cafe. The This Modern World? exhibition begins at the Cool Docks. Reflecting the World Expo theme of a ‘Better City Better Life’ with its yearning for the future, This Modern World will examine what global capital has done to shape an international public."
