Guess we can expect long, long lines at the IFC Apple store – after five months of staring enviously at consumers across the pond (or just importing them for a hefty price), the Chinese will get their chance to spend their bucks on a oversized iPod Touch this Friday at 10am.
The Wifi models will retail here for 3988RMB ($590) for the 16GB model, 4788RMB ($708) for the 32GB model and 5588RMB ($827) for the 64GB model, making it at least $100 (or 680RMB) more expensive than in the U.S.
With the iPad confirmed for this week, additional details on the iPhone 4 have also leaked out: it could be their gift to us next week. Rumors say that China Unicom will properly announce it tomorrow and launch it on Monday, September 20. Yeesh, expect mobs of Apple fanboys in Lujiazui all through the Mid-Autumn Festival.
