We’ve all heard of the endless amounts of nailhouse disputes in China, but very few of us will actually get the chance to experience the fight against developers… except for in video game form! Meet the hot new flashgame tearing up China’s interwebs: Nail Household v. Demolition Team.
According to the WSJ, the game was released by Mirage Games in August. Basically, it’s like Plants v. Zombies – but with nailhouse characters taking the place of plants, and developers being zombies. If you haven’t played that game before: what you do is “hire” nail house defenders – anyone from ol’ gramps wielding a shotgun to the Pig Sty lady in Kung Fu hustle using flip flops as ninja stars. As you “kill” more developers, you gain more money, which can be used to either upgrade your existing staff or find new defenders.
I’ve been able to work my way up to Level 6, but I’ve been stuck there ever since! Apparently the final survival level is even harder, prompting some game players to reveal the hard truth of any nail house v. developer fight: “Even if you survive the previous six levels, your house will be demolished at the end anyways.” Yowch.
