In case you missed Oktoberfest at Paulaner’s Xintiandi location, they are now moving the festivities to its Binjiang store. From Monday to Wednesday, engage in lederhosen-filled Bavarian antic alongside their regular ala carte menu.

Swedish post-punk group Pg.lost hits Yuyintang. According to its promoters, “Pg.Lost is a swedish band of many directions, but most of all a band throbbing with great melancholy grinding against the precious high hopes of not just individual human thinking and feeling, but also contrasts within pushing the sonic boundries of endless instrumental experiments of prolonging.”

Sub-Cinema presents “Exit Through the Gift Shop,” which follows the travails of an eccentric shop keeper turned amateur film-maker that runs into world famous British graffiti artist Banksy.

Engage in some French movie watching at Vienna Cafe on Thursday night. This time, they’re showing Vraie Vie est Ailleures (2009), whose description is delightfully French cinema: “What if to leave was in fact to find oneself? What if to take a train became a journey within oneself? Naples. Berlin. Marseille. Three encounters. What if real life was somewhere else to be found?”
