Has this been a crazy year for UFOs, or what? New reports say we can add one more sighting to an ever growing list: an airport near Baotou, Inner Mongolia was forced to shut down on September 11th for passenger jets to prevent them from crashing into a “UFO.”
“The alert was triggered by bright lights in the sky that moved erratically, but reports claim that air traffic controllers at the Hohhot Air Traffic Management Bureau spotted the object on their radar. After about an hour, the object and the lights suddenly vanished and passenger jets were allowed to land.
This is now the eighth time a UFO sighting has been reported since late June. Reasons behind these sightings vary from illuminated kites to missile tests to other various military tests. Officials refuse to comment on the reports, usually dismissing them with the unconvincing explanation, “it’s not aliens.”
Maybe it’s just us, but was anyone really convinced by the video – which featured a bunch of blinking lights on a black screen? C’mon, if we’re going to be showing evidence of a “UFO,” can’t it be something a little more exciting?
