In our ongoing Threesday feature, Shanghaiist takes the time to count out three of….well, whatever catches our fancy that week. It’s now round 3 for Chinese fashion blogs. (You can see our previous picks here and here.) The blogs below are all in Chinese but even if you can’t read ’em, you can still admire the shots for some outfit inspiration. Without further ado…
1. Nicole Chen
Nicole Chen is a name that appears often in the Chinese fashion press as designer, stylist, and founder of PR company NC.Style are just a few of the gigs she pulls. Chen’s always on spot for trends and you can indulge in a bit of glamorous voyeurism here as she makes the rounds at parties and events to mingle with stylesetters and celebrities like Zinedine Zidane.
2. I am Small Fry
On Chinese fashion social networking site Wodeyichu (meaning My Wardrobe), the ever stylish Sammy reigns supreme. Her popular blog sees on average of 10,000 hits per post and girl boasts a seriously enviable wardrobe.
3. Fossilized Seed
If Sammy is the queen bee of fashion blogging, then Erica Ji is that cool, artsy chick you knew back in high school–a little bit more alternative, a little more edgy. Sophisticated and wonderfully knowledgeable on the worldwide design scene, Erica never disappoints with her well-attuned eye for style.
Bonus: There were too many fantastic blogs out there to keep it down to just three so we’re going to throw in one more.
