Excited about the Shanghaiist Halloween party? We’re planning on some great music, great costumes, great prizes for those costumes, and some super-cool semi-secret post-apocalyptic props – what more could you ask for? But before we even get to those aspects of the party, let’s start with some details about the thing that’s going to be kicking off our Haibot Apocalypse bash: The Robot March.
This year, to start off this Night of Dystopian Terror right, we’ll be marching from a meeting location in front of Jing’an Temple to our party at The Nut. Not only is it a great way to get to the party (if you’re having trouble picturing where exactly the Nut is), you’ll also be waiving the 30RMB cover charge! Plus, you’ll get a chance to scare a whole bunch of people – it’s the best way in town to show off your costume.
Our route stretches up through Wanhangdu Lu, to Wuning Lu and onto Kanding. Here’s a map:
