Expecting big fireworks or some kind of blow out bash for the end of Expo? Don’t, says Shanghai Daily: “NO firework displays or parties will be held on the closing night of the World Expo, the Expo organizer announced yesterday. All pavilions will operate normally, opening at 9:30am and closing at 10:30pm. All performances will end at 8pm.” While there will be a closing ceremony, it’ll probably be pretty tame compared to the opening, and you can watch it from one of the many LED screens after 8pm. Hmmm, is somebody trying to make us feel better about not getting tickets to the last day?
