This month’s Adoptable Pet from Jaiya’s Animal Rescue
Name: Lily (pure white girl) and Milo (tabby and white boy)
Age: Approximately 8 weeks old
Health: Vaccinated, dewormed and de-flead
Ideal Home: Gets along well with people and children
Lily and her brother Milo were rescued from a rubbish strewn piece of ground in front of a building site. They were only about 4 weeks old when the rescuer spotted them, tiny and very vunerable without their mother. They kept climbing onto the wall bordering the pavement, crying for food and attention. Lily had a bad eye infection and both were riddled with fleas, mites and worms.Their immune system was low and they had also contracted a fungal skin infection, but they soon blossomed with some good veterinary attention, food, the shelter of a proper home and regular baths to treat their skin.
Another JAR volunteer did a great job regularly bathing and blow-drying the kittens to clear the infection whilst the rescuer traveled back to the U.K. After the rescuer’s return to Shanghai Lily and Milo had grown from tiny little balls of fluff to fine-looking kittens. Now their infection is gone and they are fighting fit, with boundless energy, to play and explore!!!
Lily has one blue and one grey eye which makes her very special, while Milo is the ringleader and the bravest of the two (always getting into mischief). Both enjoy playing and then curling up asleep together. They would love to go together as are quite bonded – Lily cries whenever she can’t find her brother. They also love human attention and come running for tickles and play as soon as you come home. They will make adorable pets to a permanent loving home!
Can you give these siblings an opportunity to be happy?
