Resonance China points out a fun little graphic, apparently from Ogilvy’s China social media team, demonstrating the typical users for five of China’s most active social networks.
While Resonance has a more detailed list of what each personality likes, hates and does in their spare time, the Ogilvy team really didn’t need to write it all out. Here’s the breakdown, in much less words:
Kaixin people are… Sex and the City girls
Facebook people are… Terrible Laowai
Douban people are… Hipsters
Renren people are… College sluts
QQ people are… Poor teens
