Get down to Three on the Bund to see their lighting ceremony and enjoy mulled wine, mince pies and Dulwich College Children’s Choir. It’s a free event so there is no excuse not to spread some holiday cheer!

Shanghai 5, a documentary about skateboarders in Shanghai, gets its first viewing this Friday at Source. Head over there to watch the movie, drink some beers and hang out with some skater boys. Video will be screened at 9pm.

Finally, to end you weekend don’t miss ‘Crossing the Line’ – a North Korean documentary. Independent travel company Koryo Tours brings Dada this powerful documentary about a missing U.S. soldier who spent 40 years as a film star in the mysterious North Korea. It sounds like a fiction but it’s a true story of Comrade Joe, the last American defector in North Korea. In English and Korean with English subtitles. Free.
