I’ll admit, I was skeptical when the weather bureau told us we were in for a white Christmas (season). But lo and behold, unlike last season’s paltry showers, this morning we woke up to actual snow on the actual ground – enough to make mini snow men out of! And so I’m taking that as a sign:
Shanghaiist is considering itself snowed in this Christmas. Our regular crew will be taking a short hiatus until a little after the New Year (don’t worry – Western New Year, not Chinese New Year). To keep you from getting too Shanghaiist-deprived, each day we’ll take a look back at a month on the site in 2010: Do you remember what everyone was in a fuss over in January? You’ll be reminded later tonight!
Also, Kenneth Tan, our wonderful Editor at Large, will be taking over for the next two weeks-ish, posting occassionally.
So Happy Holidays from Shanghaiist, see you more frequently in 2011.
