Established by and named after Annunzio Paolo Mantovani, the renowned British Italian violinist and composer, the Mantovani Orchestra brings Shanghai a night of harmonious melodies. Having sold more than seven million copies of its 51 albums, the orchestra is known for its easy-listening music. Some of their songs, including “Red Sails in the Sunset” and “Serenade to the Night,” topped the US billboard charts in the ’30s. The Orchestra will be playing light music classics including “Moon River,” “Cielito Lindo” and “Flamingo.” .
