If you’ve been on the internet long enough, you’ve probably seen the viral video “Where the Hell is Matt” and its sequels. If you haven’t, here’s a link to all of them – it’s a grand bit of www fun involving a guy who can’t really dance dancing in front of all the great landmarks of the world. Now he’s coming to China, and he wants you to dance with him!
A tipster sent us this email:
In this new video, I’m actually learning how to dance, so I’ll be
showing some easy moves and asking people to follow along. But don’t
worry. I’m still not very good at dancing so you don’t have to be
perfect either. Just remember to smile and have fun.
We’ll be filming for about half an hour in total. Expect to sweat a bit.
I will be dancing in both Beijing and Shanghai on different days.
So where can you meet him? In Beijing, he’ll be dancing in the Sanlitun area at the San Li Tun Fountain, near the northwest corner of the fountain. The time and date: 3pm, Saturday, February 19.
And in SHANGHAI, he’ll be at the Science and Technology Museum in Pudong (on Line 2) near the sculpture at the entrance. The time and date: 3pm, Sunday, February 20.
Those with two left feet – don’t worry! Matt’s whole schtick is actually dancing like a dork, so you’ll be in great company. Hope to see you out there – I’ll be pulling out some of my craziest dancing moves!
