SVIC PRESENTS ‘THE ARMED MAN’ Don’t miss The Shanghai Voices International Symphonic Orchestra and Choir moving performance of Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man. This modern “Mass for Peace” is dedicated to victims of the war in Kosovo, and combines the Catholic Mass with the 15th century French folk song L’Homme Armé and other religious and historical sources, including the Islamic Call to Prayer and the Mahabharata.
