All the things you’d want to do this Monday through Thursday. On the schedule this week: The eagerly-awaited Eagles concert finally happens this Wednesday! If you don’t have tickets (we’ll admit that we don’t), you could head down to the Alchemist instead because we just received news that they’re also starting up a jazz night every Wednesday 8-10pm. The day after that, they’ll be having a Mardi Gras hoe down complete with Nawlins food and beverages. There’s events galore to choose from this year’s Litfest so read on (or check out our calendar) for more!
Restaurant week starts today! There’s every sort of cuisine on offer and some really good deals to be had: 78/118RMB for lunch; 168/248RMB dinner. Bon appetit!
Show some extra appreciation towards the women in your life today because March 8th is international Women’s Day. We’ll probably be at the Litfest lunch for the Women in Publishing talk. It’s a discussion by Lisa Blunt Rochester, Ruth Kuguru, Linda Xinrong Kausch, moderated by Nancy Conyers on…you guessed it, the opportunities and challenges for women in publishing.
