The Saudi Arabia Expo Pavilion, one of the most popular pavilions during the Expo, is slated to reopen as early as next month. This is hopeful news if you never braved the 9 hr wait. It’s still no guarantee you won’t have mind-boggling lines, (see the hordes that swarmed China Pavilion’s reopening) but it is a second shot at getting in.
Also returning in the nearby future: The French, Spanish, Italian, and Russian pavilions after they undergo some enhancement for “cultural and technical elements.”
Good to see that the billions of dollars spent setting up the pavilions (over 1 billion RMB was blown on Saudi Arabia’s one alone) isn’t going to go to a complete waste after the Expo.
