Former beauty queen, Alaska governor and Republican VP hopeful Sarah Palin is now on her maiden voyage to India, where she can see Tibet from her hotel room in New Delhi.
As usual, she is turning heads, but this time with her tough talk on China. At a conference attended by well-heeled Indian business leaders and socialites, Palin praised U.S.-Indian relations as the “key to the future of our world.”
In an apparent reference to China, she said:
“We’re going to need each other, especially as these other regions rise.”
Also, in a beauty queen moment:
“Free people that make up a free country don’t wage war on another free country. I want peace on Earth.”
On China’s meteoric military rise:
“What’s with the military buildup? China’s military growth can’t just be for defensive purposes.”
