SAKE TASTING Haiku IFC is offering round three of their interesting Sake Sensei 101 dinners. For 300RMB, you’ll be introduced to 4 different sakes –the brewing process, what junmai and ginjo mean, the proper temperature it should be served at and so on. The esoteric spirit will be paired with a 7-course dinner of dishes not found on their regular menu and keep in mind there is limited seating, so your RSVP is required. PECHA KUCHA Volume 16 of Pecha Kucha night–A series of creative speakers (artists, designers, architects, musicians, etc.) show 20 images for 20 seconds apiece, for a total time of 6 minutes, 40 seconds. This time there’s no theme, they are sticking to the original format of mix to the max. (Capacity of this venue is limited to around 100 people only, so if you want to make sure you have a seat, come early! Doors open at 7:30pm.
