The news this past week has been overcast with the horrific unfurling of events from the Japanese earthquake. We just got this in our inbox, but one way you can support the Japanese earthquake relief efforts is by turning up at The People’s Republic of Comedy improv show tonight. The comedy group is donating 100% of the show’s ticket sales to the tsunami and earthquake victims in Japan.
Come to Malone`s 3rd floor this Wednesday at 9pm to laugh until it hurts and at the same time give to charity with The People’s Republic of Comedy. Using audience suggestions, Shanghai’s hottest improv troupe creates outrageous and hysterical scenes right before your eyes, in the tradition of Second City, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” and Saturday Night Live.”
It’s a 50RMB entrance with drinks special of 30RMB all night. For more information, see their website.
50RMB // 9pm // Malone’s // 255 Tongren Lu, near Nanjing Xi Lu (铜仁路255号，近南京西路)
