ART BATTLE A 3 hour digital design battle between eight young designers from both amateur and professional digital art backgrounds. The two-round battle will be projected on huge screens and each artist is given 30 minutes to create a design. An art show will also be taking place on the second floor sponsored by Hongmen Live. EARTH HOUR DINNER
Dine by candlelight at Downstairs with David Laris to honor Earth Hour. Like the Pearl Tower and most of the city’s skyline, they’ll be turning out the lights and then serving three-course dinner with a glass of wine for 200RMB. Dinner starts at 6.30pm. VIOLINIST VADIM REPIN Vadim Repin, the renowned Russian violinist and youngest-ever winner of the world’s premier violinist competition will appear at the Shanghai concert Hall for his concert Tchaikovsky’s Joy and Sorrow. Repin’s repertoire specializes in Russian and French music and he’ll be in town to play one of the great Russian composers.

SJAELLAND STRING QUARTET
This quartet, formed by four of the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra’s solo string players, is on a 5-Chinese city tour and this is their last stop. The Danish group fuses classical and contemporary styles together and features less well known works from composers like Herman Sandby, Erik Bach and Anders Koppel.
