The China touring car championship gets going this Sunday with the first of ten rounds happening in Shanghai. Take a look at a roundup of the championship and it’s cars and contenders.

- As if the Qingming traffic wasn’t enough, people queued for hours last night to fill up on gas before the prices went up at midnight. The same week the first privately owned electric cars hit the the streets of Shanghai.
- Shanghai is looking for a catchy nickname for the new Oriental Sports Centre in Pudong. They aim to increase popularity ahead of the world swimming championships in July.
- The line-up has been released for Suzhou’s Strawberry Festival happening this April 30 to May 2 featuring many popular Shanghai bands, although tickets have not yet gone on sale.
