Fun, fun, fun! After six years, the Grand Carnival is returning, this time to Shanghais Expo Site in Pudong. Is this a way to generate excitement for an otherwise useless piece of space? WHO CARES?! IT’S A CARNIVAL!
The event will last from July 23 to October 30. To give you some straight facts:
- The Carnival will run for a 100 days in total, its longest run in history.
- The venue is more than 80,000 square meters big.
- 50 amusement facilities will keep people entertained, 40 of them proven very popular in the previous two rounds.
- There will also be 10 new facilities that get imported to China for the first time, including the Bat, the biggest roller coaster in world. How cool is that?
If that is not enough and you are still bored, the rides are way too scary for you or you are not tall or old enough to go on them, there will also be 60 interactive games. Tickets will cost 100 yuan per adult and 50 per child and will be rechargeable E-tickets.
