Seen over 1.2 million times in the 19 hours since it’s been uploaded by an eyewitness, this video provides much ammunition for critics of the Ministry of Railways for its shoddy onsite handling of the wreckage in the aftermath of the tragic high-speed rail collision in Wenzhou Saturday evening.
At 9 seconds into the video, a passenger is seen falling out of the carriage that is being toppled by crains. This is followed by loud screams in the background.
At 2 min 52 sec, a passenger appears on the ground on the lower left corner of the screen. He/She is buried by debris falling out from the carriage windows, along with what appears to be another passenger, at 2 min 56 sec.
It remains unclear if any of the above passengers are alive.
Watch after the jump, and once again, proceed at your own risk…
