Duke vs Chinese National Basketball Team @ Mercedes-Benz Arena College bball favorite Duke is coming to Shanghai this Thursday to play one of three Friendship Games against the Chinese national Olympic basketball team! It will be the first ever basketball game played at the Mercedes-Benz Arena. The Blue Devils will of course be lead by legendary coach Mike Krzyzewski, also the man who took the USA team to Olympic victory in Beijing back in 2008. The teams will play games in Kunshan, Shanghai, and Beijing to celebrate the opening of Duke’s new campus in Kunshan (lulwut?). Their last game will be in Beijing on August 22. Tickets range from 80RMB to 880RMB, and you can buy them over at Smart Shanghai (cheap seats still available! and by the looks of it, it likely wont sell out so you can probably sneak out of the nose-bleed seats.) Supposedly NBA star Grant Hill, a Duke alumni, will also be traveling with the team!
