This month’s Adoptable Pet from Second Chance Animal Aid.
Age: 4 months
Health: Treated for fleas, mites and worms, eye infection, and vaccinated. Due for neutering in October. All SCAA animals receive international-standard PAW veterinary care.
Ideal Home: Max is well suited to any family with enough time to give him the cuddling and attention he enjoys. Max is an easy-going kitten who easily makes friends with other social cats.
Max was found listless, hungry and dehydrated on a sidewalk outside a small noodle shop. Tiny Max was vulnerable and getting himself into trouble annoying an older female kitten, clearly not his mother, trying to burrow into her tummy in search of mother’s milk. The shop owners confirmed Max was motherless and were grateful a caring rescuer was able to take him home as his survival seemed unlikely in such a challenging situation .
From the moment Max arrived in foster care he’s proved to be the most endearing little guy – happy, curious, playful and thriving on people’s attention. Max loves being with his foster parents and enjoys hanging out with his foster cat friend Cinderella.
When Max isn’t snuggled up with his foster parents, Cinderella, or his own little cuddly bear, he can be found exploring handbags for fun or stretched out on the laptop – lest his foster mom be tempted to devote too much attention to her emails and not enough to him! Max makes such a great impression that a previous foster mom who moved away continues to ask about him.
He’s the kind of kitty that needs only a one-word description: adorable.
