Westlife ‘Gravity’ Tour 2011 @ Shanghai Grand Stage The UKs biggest boy band EVAR is in China promoting the release of their Greatest Hits album in November. They’ve sold 44 million albums worldwide, and are playing Shanghai for the very first time (we’re guessing they might have a hard time competing with Asian super groups 10 years after their prime, but who can blame them for trying??) Ticket sales online have closed, try your luck at the venue!

Trash A Go-Go: Goodbye Simon! addition @ YYT Local rock/hardcore band The Instigation is bidding farewell to their lead singer Simon, who is heading back to England. You have one last chance to catch him in action at this weekend’s Trash A Go-Go – Shanghai’s monthly tribute to garage rock, surf rock, punk, and all those other vestiges.
