Film Screening: Falling From the Sky @ Rockbund Art Museum
In a clash of modern vs traditional, this documentary explores a little-known town and its residents who just happen to live in the debris fallout area of Xichang Satellite Base. Residents must keep their eyes on the sky as over the years the village has been hit by satellite debris 10 times. Chinese with English subtitles.

It’s a big day for cultural events! The Ice Cream Truck, Time out Shanghai, and Wharf 1846 team up to present Shanghai’s first Design, Art, and Fashion Fair – and we here at Shanghaiist are very happy to be one board as a media sponsor. This will be an exciting opportunity to see Shanghai’s art, design, and fashion talent showcase their ideas. There will be pop-up shops from local and international brands, food and drinks, music, art performances, and a fashion show.
