Nosebleeds and pocketpool abounded yesterday at the Zhengzhou Sex Culture Festival in Henan, as onlookers snapped pics and ogled beauties modeling the latest S&M and Lingerie fashions. This gallery is obviously NSFW, but hey, you’re all on vacation anyway.
In its fourth year, the Zhengzhou Sex Culture Festival is yet another example of the exploding sex industry in Asia, which, despite relative cultural prudishness, has thus far met little resistance in penetrating deep into the China market.
The Sex Culture Festival looked to be a precarious balancing act between education and objectification, and included a variety of erected exhibits that we could really get behind: featured booths offered sexual health products, body painting sessions, pole dancing performances, lingerie modeling and the titular S&M Fun Show.
The Festival hides its smuttiness behind the facade of disseminating scientific data, educating citizens, and promoting new industry concepts, though that excuse fails to explain why everyone’s snapping pictures for “future reference” rather than jotting notes.
Speaking of snapping pictures, the photographers really could’ve done a better job on some of the shots they put out. It’s almost as if they were trying to catch some of the models at their most unflatteringly concave angles. Perhaps a Butt Culture Industry Festival needs to happen in the future? It’ll feature diet supplements and exercise equipment being sold alongside fashion shows featuring models wearing their booty-accentuating best. It’s a can’t miss!
