12th Shanghai International Music Fireworks Festival @ Century Park To celebrate the National Day, Shanghai introduces their 12th international music fireworks festival. There will be firework artists from Chinese, Swedish, South Korean, Greek, Portuguese and German who will show six firework shows. Even more exciting, they will give basic firework facts so viewers can better judge the quality of the shows! What a hoot! Fireworks will be shown also on October 6th.

International Magic Festival @ Happy Valley Some of the world’s top magicians will be performing at Happy Valley this week for the International Magic Festival. The Taiwanese magician Ai Ger, who holds the world record for time spent buried in a sand-filled kiosk, will be there! (120 hours, if you can believe it.) We all know how much China loves magic, so we’re sure this festival is already a huge hit. Runs October 1-7.
