Rugby World Cup Some of you will probably be at work (suckers!), but if you aren’t, head over to one of Shanghai’s many sports bars to catch the quarter finals of the Rugby World Cup this weekend! On Sunday, it’s Australia vs. South Africa at 1pm, and New Zealand vs. Argentina at 3:30pm. The best viewing option is probably O’Malley’s with their huge screen and plentiful table space, but if you don’t want to drop like 40 big ones on a beer, try the Camel (they have cheap pints of Carslberg and when we were there they were running a 25RMB deal on Pure Blonde.) Big Bamboo is usually a little more expensive than our taste, but they are running happy hour all day for Rugby World Cup (25RMB pints of Carlsberg or Tiger) and we managed to find a table last weekend, so that’s our third recommended option.
