Closet Swap is back once again to help you cleanse your wardrobe of all those lightly-used discards cluttering up the closet space. Just choose the items you want to swap, take them over the William the Beekeeper boutique by October 19 and recieve tokens. Then bring those tokens to the swap on October 22 at the Apartment.
Men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing all accepted, as well as accessories (but they don’t want your sweaty gym clothes – no athletic wear of any kind accepted.) Everything is one-for-one exchange, which means you could get some real value out of the exchange!
The last swap at Cottons saw a great turnout, and this time around The Apartment takes over. They’ll have a brunch beforehand (noon to 1:30pm), and the swap kicks off around 1pm and runs until 4pm. All participants are required to pay a 50RMB entrance fee, which benefits the Carter Center, and gets you one cocktail to sip as you browse.
If you have clothes you’re dying to get rid of but can’t be bothered to show up at the swap, you can also simply choose to donate. All donated items (and leftover clothes after the swap) will go to the River of Hearts foundation.
