Shuck n’ Suck 2011 @ Osteria Learn how to shuck oysters from Champion Oyster Shucker Patrick McMurray, all while enjoying the super-fresh imported fruits of the sea. Top Secret: The Battle for the Pentagon Papers @ Shanghai Dramatic Arts Center U.S. government history buffs and theater nuts alike won’t want to miss this theatrical docudrama performed by Los Angeles Theatre Works, as part of the currently ongoing ACT Festival. The play centers around the Pentagon Papers (top secret documents regarding U.S. involvement in Vietnam), and the Washington Post’s controversial decision to put them in newsprint; ultimately illuminating the conflict which often arises between the government’s duty to preserve national security and the press’s responsibility to deliver the news.
